>Another Aquarium Visit

>The Aquarium here is so nice. The girls really enjoy going.
This time we were able to walk the trail to the other building.
I’m thinking we may not go back until the schools start back up.
It was very crowded when we went this last time.
Still had fun though!

We were greeted by the turtles first. They almost look like statues.

This is a magnetic puzzle of the world.. It has a timer on it for 2mins I believe.
It’s so much fun trying to get it together before the time is up and all the pieces fall.

Charles wants to get a snake so bad. For now we’ll settle for the ones we can pet at the Aquarium and pet store.

How cool is this guy? He’s a Tomistoma. Part of the Crocodile family. They are an endangered species now.
They told us they feed them 2-3 times a week. I wouldn’t want to be the one to feed them.
If you look closely, you can see the Mrs in the back on the left side.

We got to look at and touch a whale tooth. They are surprisingly heavy. We saw a Alligator, Crocodile, and Tomistoma skull

From there we went to watch the sharks swimming in the tank. There is something so soothing about watching them swim around in there.
I tried to get a picture, but the room is too dark.

While I sat watching the sharks, Charles went with the girls into the makeshift submarine.

Sometimes you can see the sharks swimming around through that window where Nakiah is standing.

Giant birds nest on the trail.

Looking out into the marsh. They have a sign up of the different wild life you may be able to spot.
