>The Tiger

>I’m so glad the weather has cooled off here for a bit. it’s been in the upper 70’s mid 80’s. It’s such a nice change from 95 with 51% humidity and 9mph wind. On days like that we head to the zoo to play in the water and check out the animals.

We were playing in the water fountains in the new Trail of The Tiger exhibit when Ava spotted this pretty girl.  Both girls went running to check her out. They were so excited to watch a tiger swim.

I love this picture of Ava running alongside the tiger.
Both girls kept talking about how beautiful she was. They were amazed by the size of her paws and her face.

She kept looking at the kids and then zeroed in on Samuel when I put him down. One woman kept going on and on about how she liked kids, and how she was always staring at them. I was thinking, it’s probably because she sees prey.

She was still pretty and interesting to watch. Her partner stayed in the shade in the cave. That was the highlight of our trip to the zoo that day. Well, the tiger and playing in the water.
