My girls are not afraid of snakes. Well, not the ones in the pet store. I love going into Animal Jungle.
We learn something new every time we go in there.
It was really dark in the reptile area, so the pictures are fuzzy. I tried to edit them so they weren’t orange.
This snake here was amazing. Kiah started giggling when he made his way down her back and around her neck. Ava was fascinated by the way his tongue tickled her.
We also checked out the spiders, and bearded dragons….cute little things.
They had a baby sting ray, eels, turtles, birds. They had two big rats running across the top of a desk…they were so friendly. The girls enjoyed going back to pet them. I lost track of how many times they went back there.
I can’t wait until we move so we can have a pet, or pets. Charles and I both grew up having pets and we want the same for our kids. The problem will be deciding on what and when. Charles wants a snake, Nakiah and Ava want a dog, cat, rabbit, and guinea pig. I would also love a dog and or cat. Maybe we’ll have all of them and build or way up over time?
